Your data
Privacy policy
This site sets no cookies and does not track you. Here, in plain language, is what happens to what you write to us.
Who is responsible for your data?
Annelies Debo, trading as Coco Surf School, 47 E avenue de la Marquèze, 40510 Seignosse, France. Questions? [email protected]. The full details are in the legal notice.
What do we collect?
Only what you type into the contact form yourself: your name, your email address and your message. Nothing else. There is no account on this site, no profile and no advertising tracking.
Why, and on what legal basis?
- To answer your enquiry and prepare your booking — legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b).
- To send you occasional news from the school, such as new dates or an offer — only if you ticked the box for it. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a). You can withdraw it at any time, simply by replying to one of our emails.
How long do we keep it?
Two years from our last exchange. After that your message and your details are deleted. If you signed up for news from the school, we keep your address until you unsubscribe.
Who else sees it?
Two technical providers, and nobody else. Your data is never sold, rented or traded.
- Resend delivers the form message to our mailbox. It is based in the United States; the transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
- Cloudflare hosts and serves the site. Cloudflare processes your IP address for site security and abuse protection.
The surf report on the home page
The home page shows today’s conditions at Les Bourdaines. Your browser requests that data directly from Open-Meteo, which means your IP address reaches that service. Open-Meteo sets no cookies and builds no visitor profile. The tide times, by contrast, are pre-loaded on our own server and involve no external call at all.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies, uses no local storage, and embeds no analytics, advertising pixels or third-party content. That is also why you are not asked to accept a consent banner.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — cnil.fr — or with the authority in your own country.
